- Delivery prices & timescales quoted apply to orders placed via our website only; if placing an order in store or by phone then these may vary. All deliveries are undertaken by a two man team but if possible assistance should be provided. Any delivery dates given should be taken as estimates. Our courier will phone you before intended delivery, for this reason we require a telephone number during checkout. Any special delivery requirements should be made known to us in advance, by either email or telephone call. We will not be held responsible for any delays in delivery. Typically, delivery will take place 7-14 days from when the goods are in stock, but can take longer in certain circumstances.
- Please note, we can only ship to UK mainland addresses. We are unable to ship to BFPO, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland and Outer Hebrides.

over £200free - Small item delivery. Single bedside furniture items, trunks and dining chairs may qualify for our £15 UPS courier delivery. This is based on cubic volume and weight, so only single furniture items will qualify.
- All deliveries for Mad Dogs and Englishmen will be undertaken by our dedicated haulier Network 4. Network 4 will contact the customer at least 48 hours prior to delivery to arrange a convenient date and time. Network 4 offer additional services including a white glove service, light assembly, removal of packaging, etc. If you require these extra services, please contact Mad Dogs and Englishmen as early as possible.
- Our delivery services make every effort to arrive within the notified time slot. Customers who fail to keep to this agreed period will be charged an additional £100. We do not accept responsibility for any marks or damage that may inadvertently be caused by delivery staff during the normal course of their work and strongly advise customers to make proper provision to protect their carpets and flooring.

- The information Mad Dogs and Englishmen collects about you is used to record and support your registration of, and entitlement to, services and products purchased from us. Your personal information is also used to keep you informed about product upgrades, promotions, and other products and services of Mad Dogs and Englishmen. Mad Dogs and Englishmen will not sell, transfer or give freely your personal information to any company or organisation without your consent except to comply with laws or regulations of the government or other regulatory body, or to protect the rights of Mad Dogs and Englishmen.
- Returns & Replacements
- You can cancel an order, for a full refund, up to 7 days after the order provided delivery arrangements with Mad Dogs and Englishmen have not already been agreed. Under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) we are under no obligation to accept returns or issue refunds for items which are made to order or have been assembled (if delivered flat packed). In cases where you have received an item that you do not wish to keep, then you are required to take satisfactory care of the product until such a time that it can be collected by us. You will be issued a refund minus the original delivery cost, to be completed within 28 days.
- Goods ordered to a non-standard specification or finish are classed as special order items. Customers who cancel a special order are liable for the costs incurred by Mad Dogs and Englishmen. This includes any carriage costs incurred or any charges made to us by the manufacturer.
- Mad Dogs and Englishmen takes no responsibility for customer assembly of furniture and the hanging of mirrors and chandeliers. No refunds will be payable for damage caused by mishandling furniture, misuse of furniture or the application of unsuitable coatings, polishes or abrasives.
- When intending to return an item you must notify us in writing by contacting us via our online form or sending a letter to Mad Dogs and Englishmen, 1349-1353 London Road, Leigh on Sea, Essex, SSQ 2AB. You must retain possession of the goods or services and ensure that the goods or services are kept in the same condition as they were when they were delivered until such time as the goods or services are collected by us. Items for return may only be collected by our dedicated haulier Network 4. Please try and provide photographic evidence if an item has a defect as this will assist us.
- Ordering
- Payment must be made up front for the full amount before goods will be placed on order and delivered to you. Funds must clear before we place goods on order. Accepted payment methods are: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo, and PayPal. All payments shall be made to the Seller in British Pounds Sterling (£). By placing an order the Buyer warrants to the Seller that the Buyer is a resident in the UK, that the Buyer is accessing the site from the UK and that the Buyer is at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. All prices include standard 20% VAT.
- Payment, Pricing & Promotions
- We reserve the right to cancel any order which has been mis-priced. We try to ensure that all information in our products is as accurate as possible; however sometimes there may be mistakes. Information on items is provided by the manufacturer and as such as will not be held accountable for incorrect dimensions or other attributes. You should acknowledge that finishes fabrics provided are to be used as a guide only and may differ from the final product.
